The problem is likely ...Oh, that's frustrating! The problem is likely not due to any mistake by either you or the designer. Each person tats at a slightly different tension, and in a large project those slight differences add up to a noticeable change. It looks like one of those times when blocking by stretching with pins would help. It's a really beautiful doily. Good luck!Marilee Rockleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11229319055877477637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-68679026338927098882017-08-29T04:02:40.121+01:002017-08-29T04:02:40.121+01:00Before you cut it, show a picture to Linda; she mi...Before you cut it, show a picture to Linda; she might have a. Idea about what has gone wrong, or at the very least, she'll be interested in seeing the problems with her design. That's what I would do. And then put the doily carefully into a drawer and leave it there for a long time until you feel like trying again.Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02383223698959645624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-32663084256199226082017-08-28T17:52:36.746+01:002017-08-28T17:52:36.746+01:00Oh wow, we feel the pain, this is so sad, I rememb...Oh wow, we feel the pain, this is so sad, I remember messing up a large portion with the monster doily😐Madtatter80https://www.blogger.com/profile/15047145271493817811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-49936466799853372142017-08-28T16:26:20.296+01:002017-08-28T16:26:20.296+01:00Oh no, that's a shame after you've put in ...Oh no, that's a shame after you've put in so much work. I was able to do this with a doily that was too tight around the outside. I cut it into two and the outside went "ah", relaxed, and then received a different 'inner'. The smaller inside received another row or two adjusted. You lose one round in the process of cutting.<br />Mama MartinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-62551356028175022062017-08-28T12:37:40.064+01:002017-08-28T12:37:40.064+01:00I feel your pain.
