I admit it is good when people recognise tatting, that is half the delight, they then appreciate how much work is involved in making the items.Sally Kersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14689082516157330679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-37129725768445897672013-12-04T18:05:49.525+00:002013-12-04T18:05:49.525+00:00I was at a craft fair this summer and I was wearin...I was at a craft fair this summer and I was wearing a jewelry set I'd tatted. As I was looking at someone's very nice beaded jewelry stand the artist asked me if what I was wearing was tatted. We ended up having a very nice little conversation about tatting :) I didn't see one single stand with any kind of thread craft there. It was all metal, wood, wire, and a few beadweaving jewelry stands, and those were few and far between. I was just thrilled that someone knew what tatting was and was able to recognize it :)Trish Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00030547842675661478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773419808528632842.post-72820500301908740722013-12-01T18:32:53.756+00:002013-12-01T18:32:53.756+00:00Margaret craft fairs are a very hit or miss thing ...Margaret craft fairs are a very hit or miss thing these days, in the past they were really good but most of them are the same old crafts, nothing different. I have a lot of Christmas 'snowflakes' that I made several years ago that are still lurking. As you say, being seasonal they have a limited window to be sold! It might be time to give them away.
