Thanks for all the helpful thoughts on my next give-away it seems that shuttles are always popular and with Christmas on the horizon it will become an early present for the winner.
Only two more blog posts and I will be announcing it!
I finished the necklace and have photographed it beside some Michaelmas daisies.

Another daisy like flower is Chamomile, you may have heard of chamomile lawns? Or perhaps the children's stories written by Beatrice Potter? Peter Rabbit's mother gave him chamomile tea when he was feeling ill. Chamomile also helps you sleep and calms you down.
And finally an angel who I had lost, but turned up unexpectedly, like they do, last week.
The pattern comes from Mark Myers book 'Tatted Gathering of Angels" it was meant to be included in the post I did about attaching tatting to paper clips, but it flew away!
Ooooh, that's a stonking great necklace. LOVE the colour.
ReplyDeleteYour daisies are very pretty. Maybe your angel wanted to be featured all by herself instead of in a group.
ReplyDeleteI love the Michaelmas daisies beautiful necklace.
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace,
ReplyDeleteShe may have flown away, but she's back now for you.

Wonderful photo, Sally!
ReplyDeleteFox. : )
The necklace is gorgeous! - the colours match the real flower perfectly. I am always losing things, Dantatter from Denmark says you must put a bowl of rice pudding on top of the highest cupboard in your house - failing an attic which Australian houses don't have! The pudding is for the mischievous pixies who have hidden your lost item.
ReplyDeleteMany bowls of rice pudding have sat on top of cupboards in our house - and sometimes it works! I'm glad you found your angel.
The colour of your M daisies is perfect. It is such a gorgwous necklace. You have been tatting up some pretty flowers.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the angel returned! Really love your michaelmas daisies, fabulous.
ReplyDeletelove the flower do you sell the pattern? I think I would enjoy making some!
ReplyDeleteHi Carollyn, I would willingly share the pattern on my blog, just have to write it out in a readable form first so that it can be understood not just by me! Will work on it over the next few weeks. Thanks for asking.
DeleteOh good, I do know how hard it is to write down a pattern, I think it is another art in it's self. I struggle with that so I have a friend that asked me to write out a dragon fly that I made with cluny and just do get round to it. So I guess I should work on mine, and but I want yours :)
DeleteI've been admiring the Michalmas daisies since you first showed a picture. They're beautiful.
