I have finally come to the end of the cup cake addiction and now on another one, which I will show you soon.
Here are some to wet your appetite - strawberry, lemon, chocolate and mint cakes with two pairs of earrings. What was particularly good about this pattern was that it used up some of my bead soup, so much fun using random coloured beads together.
A batch of pop-a-bobbin shuttles and post shuttles are just coming to the end of their production and now it is final testing, a stressful time!
Sadly there are always rejects, and here are some of them from past batches, we do not have the heart to throw them away so they stay in a special box.

Love the cup cakes! It is a good idea to keep the shuttles I am sure there will be a use for them I use mine to hold extra thread sometimes :) but I see a shuttle christmas tree :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions Madtatter, but for at the moment they are destined to go back in the box!
DeleteCould the rejects become pendants for tatters who might wear them as novelty jewelry? Or how about Christmas tree ornaments? I would hang one on my tree!
ReplyDeleteEven more suggestions Michelle, don't worry they will not get thrown away.
DeleteYour cup cakes are so much fun! Good luck with the testing.
ReplyDeleteLooks good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cupcakes!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFun to have tatted cakes - there are many being knitted and crocheted these days too! I remember years ago when Nancy Tracy brought out her ice cream pattern! - lots odifferent flavoursf were being tatted, I think I did choc-chip and strawberry with sprinkles.
ReplyDeleteI remember that ice-cream pattern Maureen, never actually got around to tatting it though. Yes cup cakes are very popular in all forms - including the real ones!
DeleteThey look good enough to eat. I am glad that the "rejects" don't get thrown away. There will come a reason some day just for them.
