One Off!

I am delighted to say that the doily is at last finished, all I need to do is tidy up the threads that have been left around after any such project!   As I worked from round to round on this doily I did not write the pattern down, because really do not think that it will ever be made by me or anyone else!  So this is definately a one off!

It is 20" wide and I am actually not keeping it, someone requested this doily back in July, the only stipulation was that it was green, large and had to be completed by Christmas. She has not seen it yet so hope she will be pleased.

  5. You've done a really good job! You should've written it down, I see no reason why no one would want to tat it. Really good use of colour too. The recipient will be delighted.

  7. This is very pretty. You have done a beautiful bit of 'improvisation' to create this doily, and it shows. Beautiful!

  9. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! This beautiful doily jumped right off the screen! It has looked lovely all along, but the the scallops edged in the darker color are the perfect finishing touch! Wonderful colors throughout. Seriously, this is awesome! I'm sure there will be many requests for the pattern. Your own photos of the progress would be a good way to show the different rounds. All of your hard work has paid off beautifully!
