The Trim

So this is what happened to the trim that I showed you in the last post.
It has really added a touch of class to the bag.

More pop-a-bobbin shuttles have been made and they will be on their way to my sisters in the next few days.   This is one of them, I was going to keep it for myself, but it does not have a hook on the end, so decided to wait for another one.

The wood is called 'raspberry jam'

  2. Well I'be heard that in the war they put wooden pips in the raspberry jam to fool people that it was made with actual raspberries, but I've never heard of a wood called raspberry jam! ( I wonder what the jam was actually made from)

  3. Quite a nice bag to begin with but the edging really does finish it nicely!

  8. The trim is perfect for the bag! I'll have to keep a lookout for that shuttle. I happen to like shuttles without hooks!

  9. It is the perfect edging on this bag and even better with the touch of beads.
The Raspberry Jam shuttle is beautiful, but I sure do like my Purple Heart!
